Take my advice!
Let me tell you about the story of my Wedding Day..... It went by way to quickly, and I don't have a lot of photos to show for it. Unfortunately, at that time, I was young and inexperienced in life. I didn't have the foresight to see what might really be important to me in the future. I was the type of bride that didn't really want a huge wedding. I just wanted to be married. So, I did what you do, got a dress, a tux, and a few people to stand up for me, some important guests, and yummy food..... I was in heaven. Now, flash ahead 11 years later, three kids and still happily, blissfully married. What's missing here? Well, the wedding pictures. Don't get me wrong. I do have some wedding pictures, that were taken by my brother - yeah, he had a "good camera" doesn't everyone?? But that doesn't equal "good pictures". I always say, that I like to learn the hard way and I definately did. Probably more so than the average person, because now, I am a Professional Photographer, and every day I am reminded as to what I don't have - Professional Wedding Photos. That day is gone forever, and my kids are just starting to ask about our wedding and what was it like.... If I had some decent pictures, I might be inclined to dig deep for them, but I know that it will make me cringe to look at the horrible boring photos, that could have been beautiful memories. If only I wasn't so cheap! I hope whoever reads this is listening... I tell this story to my clients over and over again and I've never had a bride regret spending the money on their photos.
