Lots of Family Sessions this past weekend... This family was lot of fun... the kids were so awesome to work with... very laid back and fun. So cute to get the four of them in this shot.... we just set up the 3 older kids and waited for little Mallory to come along and mimic what her brothers and sister were doing.... She bounced on everyone's back first and then made her way to her spot... it was so cute!!

I'm not into a posed family portrait.... it's painful for me to make a posed portrait... this is more my style.....
This little baby has THE longest eyelashes.... beautiful lips and a full head of soft downy hair... I just wanted to keep him. It's so nice to be able to hold a little baby every so often.... Here are just a few of my favs...
This wedding made me cry.... a lot.... I know I'm a sap, but... Jess and I have worked together in the past and she is a wonderful friend I guess it started with Jess & her sister.... They both sing & Jess's sister wrote this beautiful song that she was going to sing at the wedding.... she sang it for Jess before the wedding as everyone was just finishing getting ready.... I'm shooting and pretty much sobbing behind the camera... It was so beautiful and the words were so touching.... The Ceremony was just amazing too, songs, prayers, a really nice sermon... the music is what really gets to me though.. but there were many touching moments throughout the day as you can see by several of the photos.. It truly was an awesome day... Congrats Jessica & Clint!

I had the pleasure of shooting Kathleen & her two awesome kids yesterday. I LOVE urban sessions and when I saw David with his skateboard, it just totally made my day!! It was such a good fit for these three... Kathleen and Michaela were just so beautiful too... Here are some of my favs
Just running out the door for a wedding rehersal and it's crazy busy around here!! Thank God for Kathe and Matthew.... Kathe's been working with me for almost a year now.... how time flies... and Matthew just started working for me a couple of weeks ago - he's a multi talented guy and has many skills! It's SO awesome now..
I hope to be able to focus more on shooting and creating.... which is why I got into this in the first place. Little did I know how tedious the business end of it was! Whew.

This is a family session I did yesterday.. Lucas surprised his wife with a session for their anniversary, so I would say he won some pretty big points there!! We had a great time! Their little guy is just such a happy boy... and cute too! Here are just a few of my favs...

Family sessions with little ones are all about running, jumping, climbing, laughing playing.... never is it about getting your photo taken.. Oh no! That's not really why we're there - it's play time! Somehow this makes for the best shots. Here are some of my favs:
I had the pleasure of shooting David and Paul's swanky Wedding Ceremony at the Vancouver Art Gallery. What a COOL venue! I'm so excited for both of them, this was a truly memorable occasion and such a great party! Here are some of my fav's!
Here are the shots from the "Formals" or the fun part of the day where we photograph the wedding party & the couple. I'm thinking that we need to come up with a better name for this part of the day... "formals" just doesn't do it... it's such a fun time, I guess you could get some formal shots, but it's more about relationships, fun, romance, playfulness and so much more..... so think on that and let me know! I'll mail out a $50.00 Gift Certificate for the person that comes up with something better - we'll start a new trend!
Sam & Brandon.... I have nothing but good things to say about these two. They are such a beautiful couple, so kind and sweet... I am so happy for them... and I'm thrilled with the pictures! I can't stop playing with them!! (Sorry Sam, it will be worth the wait I promise!! I just need another day or two!!) I posted Sam's pre-wedding... soon to come will be the "Formals" which I am working on as we speak and they are so awesome... check back soon!!
